Suzie Tuchman’s work explores the labor involved in maintaining a home as well as the deeper
meaning imbued in the repetitive and often tedious tasks associated with supporting a family. Through the
transformation of domestic materials in her playful sculptures, artist books, installations and
prints, she touches on issues of tradition, gender expectations and life experiences. She has a BA from Yeshiva University and a BFA and MFA from Montclair State University, NJ. Her work has been exhibited in Museums and Galleries in New York, New Jersey and Maryland and is held in the Special Collections Library at Rutgers University, NJ and with private collectors.
